The Water Clock is a timely and thought-provoking Cli-Fi thriller that follows a non-binary protagonist who is a reluctant hero seeking a scientist to educate the world about the powers of a family relic, the Water Clock. It's a stone bowl with mysterious powers including a space/time-slip that suddenly reveals a climate crisis no one saw coming. The question emerges: If water is alive, is it communicating?
I'm thrilled that The Water Clock resonates with global audiences. It's a water story where we see the power of flow. Like the film’s hero, I see a world depleting our precious and unique water resources, and I hope it inspires conversations and activism on their behalf. ~Sheil Seclearr
The Water Clock is in development and will be filmed in New Mexico. Producers include Seclearr, Carey Rose O’Connell (AFMI Productions and producer of marketing and distribution), and Lorraine Montez (Enchanted Rain Films and producer).

About The Water Clock: This film is modern science that meets ancient wisdom. Orinday is a visionary recluse living on the outskirts of society, convinced that humanity is in a race to devour all of Earth’s resources. An abused child adopted at an early age; Orinday’s Native American mother understands their gender-fluid connection to nature. She raises Orinday to protect and nurture her family’s ancient relic, the Water Clock.
In the opening, Orinday wakes in a panic, sure that the old bowl was called into service for the world. When Orinday seeks out a famous water scientist to validate the mysterious stone bowl, she calls the relic primitive. Orinday knows that the crystal-clear language of water mirrors Quantum Physics, so he refuses to give up and launches an adventure that will impact the future of the planet. In an extraordinary climax, while trapped in an underground aquifer, the scientist finally realizes Orinday’s Water Clock proves her recent findings about the “fourth phase of water.” Water is alive, and communicating new information about life on earth. It's time to listen.
